Sid Peet

Sidney C. Peet. Peet was born in Callicoon, New York, around 1858. He had been a professional sprinter, running with the "Natick Immortals" in their hook and ladder races.
Peet began his athletic training career at Bradford (PA) High School and then worked under Mike Murphy at Penn.
Peet worked at the Phillips Andover Academy in Andover, Massachusetts, from 1899 to 1915.
From 1915 to 1919, he was employed by St. John’s Prep in Danvers,
Peet would die of pneumonia on March 11, 1920.
